Joseph Campbell: The Hero’s Path

“Where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence; where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.”

–Joseph Campbell

    Hello Frederic
I just found your website and clicked on Myth and there it was my favorite teacher Joseph Campbell.

I was fortunate to seat in two of his lectures this was back in the early eighties,a few years before he died, because of him I understood what myth and religion have in common, it changed my life completely.
Thank you Frederic for your great contribution.
