Oh, thank you for including this poem. I love David Whyte. Reading this ended my day perfectly. having had thoughts about how alone I feel just now. Thank you. Time to be off to commune with a bowl of cereal and some cold milk before bed. I wonder what they’ll have to say!

I really apprecaite David Whyte, and owe a lot to him. I saw him give a public talk on ‘vocation’ many years ago. I quit my job the following week and started doing what I really love, making music. It hasn’t paid the rent just yet (I have a ‘real’ job with an accounting firm) but it really doesn’t matter. Music has added a quality of balance in my life that was missing before. The man really has a way with words, that is for sure.
